Dressing pastel shirts: OOTD

This #FashionFriday, we’re putting our skills to the test by creating another outfit of the day (or two). For this week’s top picks, we’re looking at how to effortlessly dress pastel shirts this summer. Whether it’s a BBQ, a day at the races or a wedding, we’ve got you covered with these simple yet stylish combos.

Pastels are perfect for keeping you cool in the summer months and go great with so many looks. However, sometimes they can be a little tricky to get right. This in mind, we’ve put together two foolproof outfits that will look great on everyone, for any semi-formal or smart/casual occasion.

Look One: Sky Blue

Starting simple, pastel blue is a fail-safe option when it comes to pastel shirts. We love this one from the ever stylish German brand, Olymp. Their high-quality shirts are incredibly well fitting and a wardrobe essential for the modern man.

Perfect for any smart/casual evening, we’ve paired this shirt with one of our favourite jackets from Herbie Frogg. With their statement attention to detail, this ‘go-with-everything’ jacket is matched with the light blue shirt, tan chinos and Azor shoes.

This jacket also has a lining that has to be seen in person to be believed, so make sure to ask us about the ‘London lined’ Herbie Frogg jackets next time you visit our showroom!

Look Two: Salmon Pink

Next up, we’ve gone for something a little more adventurous, a pastel pink. Pink can be a colour that many men are reluctant to wear, for whatever reason. However, this subtle Giordano shirt is bound to change your mind.

This delicate shade paired with bold, bird pattern is the perfect summer shirt. Pinks look striking when put with navy blue and we’re loving this on-trend combination for summer. For this look, we’ve picked out another of our favourite jackets from Herbie Frogg, with the same tan shoes and Mac Jeans chinos.

That’s it for this weeks #FashionFriday. We hope you’ve enjoyed looking at how we’ve been styling pastel shirts this season. To get your own simple yet statement outfits for summer, visit our showroom on Chestergate, Macclesfield.
