Christmas Jumper Day 2018

It’s cold out there! We’ve heard it’s due to snow soon here in Macclesfield, we’re making sure to wrap up warm. Luckily, this #FashionFriday gives us the perfect excuse to wear our warmest, most comfortable knits. Christmas jumper day is here!

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, we all appreciate a good cosy jumper. From full-on festive to simple block colours, we’ve got something for everyone. Keep reading to see some of our favourite knits this winter.

Christmas Jumpers:

First up are these ‘perfect-for-December’ fairisle sweaters from Barbour. Great to wear through all of winter, this traditional pattern is festive without going overboard. Whether it’s the stylish monochrome or bold Christmas red, you can’t go wrong with this jumper.

Still one of our favourite names in knitwear, Belgian brand Howlin’ combines traditional techniques with a modern flair to create beautiful pieces in the hills of Scotland.  This mustard yellow is one of our staple colours for AW18 and this thick knitted sweater will keep you warm whilst looking cool. For something slightly more festive, thie pine green sweater with a geometric print is giving us serious Christmas tree vibes.

We couldn’t write about Christmas jumpers without sharing one of the best in John Douglas Menswear this year! Whether you like the dessert or not, this Xmas pudding jumper from John Smedley is fantastic for this time of year.  John Smedley’s famously high quality paired with this novelty design makes for a jumper that is fun and bold yet luxurious and comfortable. We like it so much that we wore John Smedley Christmas jumpers ourselves this #FashionFriday!

We hope you enjoyed that look at some of our favourite knitwear this Christmas Jumper Day 2018. Whatever you’re doing this December, be sure wrap up warm in some of our great quality sweaters. Visit our showroom on Chestergate, Macclesfield to find your own perfect jumper.
